The Northeast Pennsylvania Manufacturers and Employers Association (MAEA) is shining the spotlight on St. Luke’s Occupational Medicine! This Spring 2023, the organization has shined the spotlight of appreciation on St. Luke’s with the Excellence Award for Environmental Health and Safety. Fellow Occupational and Environmental Medicine (OEM) Physician Dr. Eli J. Hurowitz is proud to congratulate St. Luke’s on this achievement! Their comprehensive Worksite Injury Prevention Program has been recognized for its positive impact on the community, by the MAEA as well as Pennsylvania Manufacturers Association, Schuylkill County Commissioners and the National Association of Manufacturers. Dr. Hurowitz explains that St. Luke’s was specifically selected for this honor and award because of the comprehensive way in which their featured program is making a difference in their community. The intention of the program is to promote the protection of safety, enhancement of health and productivity among employees, in safe work environments.
Every year, MAEA selects to highlight the unique accomplishments of various organizations in the Northeast Pennsylvania community with their Annual Excellence Awards. Additionally awards include the 30 Over 30 Award and the Lifetime Achievement Award. These honors from MAEA seek to inclusively uplift and empower the most dedicated professionals in the region.
